Absa Reviews collects information necessary to provide our booking, review, loyalty, and CRM services to local businesses. This includes business owner account data and, with consent, customer contact information to facilitate communications.

Email addresses

We collect email addresses from business owners to create accounts, send transactional notifications, and deliver billing communications. We also store customer email addresses when provided by the business for marketing, review requests, and loyalty program outreach. Emails are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Phone numbers

Business owner phone numbers are collected for account verification and critical alerts. Customer phone numbers may be stored by the business to send SMS notifications such as booking confirmations, review requests, order updates, and promotional messages. All phone numbers are handled in accordance with applicable telecommunications regulations.

Booking information

When customers make appointments through Absa Reviews, we collect booking details including date, time, service type, and associated contact information. This data is stored securely and is accessible only to the business owner and authorized staff members for operational purposes.

Order information

For businesses using our Order & Pickup features, we collect order details, customer preferences, and payment status information. This enables order tracking, pickup notifications, and customer communication throughout the fulfillment process.

SMS notifications

SMS messages are sent through integrated messaging services to facilitate timely communication between businesses and their customers. Message types include booking reminders, review requests, order status updates, and marketing campaigns. SMS volumes are governed by plan limits to ensure fair use.

Email notifications

Email notifications cover a wide range of communications including account alerts, billing notices, marketing campaigns, birthday greetings, loyalty rewards, and review request follow-ups. Businesses control the content and frequency of customer-facing emails sent through our platform.

Customer data protection

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect all stored data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security monitoring. Business owners are responsible for obtaining proper consent before uploading customer data, and customers retain the right to request deletion of their personal information.

Opting out of SMS

Recipients of SMS messages from Absa Reviews businesses can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receiving a STOP request, the phone number is immediately added to the suppression list and no further SMS communications will be sent to that number from that business. To resume SMS communications, the customer must contact the business directly.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Business owners can manage their data through the Account Settings page. Customers wishing to exercise data rights should contact the business directly or reach out to us at adamadiouf2017@gmail.com.
